It is a personal favorite for a number of reasons, most important of which is its speed and reliability. Sounds a bit too generalized, you might think, but we really mean it in every sense. Other tablets in the discount electronics industry have historically been infamous with slowness, short battery life, lagging, or app store issues. The 8” S5PV210 tab integrates sturdy design and quality materials, making it highly dependable and enjoyable to use. No need to spend hours trying to improve your tablet, it will impress you right out of the box.

	Processor So what is it that makes this tablet so special you might ask? Its processor is the biggest reason. The Samsung S5PV210 processor is a cost effective, low power, and high performance microprocessor built specifically for portable device market. It integrates the ARM Cortex-A8 core, which includes many powerful features such as motion video processing, display control and scaling. Its smart architecture facilitates power efficient task handling, which translates into longer lasting battery life. The processor clocks at 1Ghz – 1.2Ghz and includes advanced NEONTM technology for multimedia and signal processing.
Memory The S5PV210 8 inch tablet has a 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB. We generally recommend purchasing at least a 4GB microSD card for additional storage so you are able to save your favorite books, movies, and documents to your heart’s content. For productivity purposes you can also purchase a leather case keyboard which will dramatically improve your email and document typing experience.
	Design 8inch S5PV210 tablet is built to last so you do not have to worry about it breaking 2 months after. The resistive touchscreen is good quality and enables you to pinch zoom using two fingers at the same time. The aesthetics of the tablet are pretty standard, black body, weights 1.15 lbs. It has an HDMI and mini USB ports in addition to its standard outputs. The design includes smooth finish and rounded corners, making it comfortable to hold for prolonged periods of time.
Display The 8 inch display has a 4:3 ratio, which is ideal for watching multimedia content. The display is fairly good as we noticed, especially for an 8 inch discount tablet. The best part of all is that processor is able to support such applications as Netflix and Hulu, so you can enjoy your favorite movies right inside a palm of your hand. The resistive touchscreen registers 2 points of input so you can pinch zoom using two fingers simultaneously. Resistive touchscreen is generally lower grade than its capacitive counterpart but on this device it is still very decent quality and high accuracy.
	Sound There are moderately large speakers located at the back of the tablet. As you can see them pictured to the left, they are actually larger than speakers most tablets of this size have integrated. You will be pleasantly surprised by the high fidelity audio on the S5PV210. Watch movies and listen to music at its full sound, without the need of headphones.
Software The firmware includes an Android 2.3 OS, which can potentially be upgraded to a higher OS in the future. The Android 2.3 at this time is the best operating system in terms of app compatibility, because many of the app developers have not integrated the Android 4.0 to its full functionality. The tablet system is generally stable and easy to use. Historically, users have reported some issues such as app force closing but it not a frequent occasion so the overall user experience will be pleasant.
	Camera The camera on this tab is 2.0 megapixels, which of course is not enough to capture professional photography. But for a discount tablet it is usually not a deal breaker.
